In its 4th edition, Mec Show 2011 – the METAL MECHANICS, POWER AND AUTOMATION FAIR, has registered a record number of visitors: 16 thousand people from 15 Brazilian states circulated in the Carapina Pavilion in Espirito Santo, during the four days of the event, checking the releases and technological innovations of the metal mechanic sector.
Latest generation machines, robots, submarines equipment and business meetings were responsible for many closing contracts and future business. Only the business meetings, which were organized by SEBRAE-ES (The Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises), were responsible for R$29 million. Altogether, 150 exhibitors were present in an area of 12 thousand meters and closed good business.
The Oxipira, from Piracicaba, for exemplo, sold four machines, making a profit of over R$1,5 million, and said it will be back in Espirito Santo in 2012, when will already have an office in Serra. “We were very satisfied with the results and will be back next year with new machines and technology”, said the manager of the company, Claudemir Perecin.
Cimhsa, a company that commercialize machines tools from Curitiba, sold 16 machines, with the amount between R$20 to R$300 thousand, which has meant a grown of 20% compared with the results obtained in 2010.
Benner Group, from São Paulo, commercialized a lathe for a company from Espirito Santo and has plans to return next year. Also, The Group Megga sold five machines, of which three - a machine center, a lathe and an injector – were bought by industries in Espirito Santo.
“I already bought the space for Mec Show 2012. The fair has been very popular, we really enjoyed the event last year and already reserved the space for next year. We always seek to bring a release for the fair”, said João Luiz Poleselo, commercial director of the Group Megga.
Looking forward to new business, most of the exhibitors have already reserved the space for the fair in 2012. Some companies are participation in the event for the first time, as others participate since 2008, first year of Mec Show edition.
The organizer of Mec Show 2011, Marcos Milaneze, explained that the event for next year will feature great news. “The fair has consolidated as an ambient for business and change of knowledge”, said.

The industry of Espirito Santo is the fastest growing in the country
The industrial production in the state of Espirito Santo has grown 9,67% in the first semester of this year, as per source from Instituto Jones dos Santos Neves (IJSN), released yesterday.
The rate is the highest among all Brazilian states. In the rest of Brazil, the taxes that were registered in the same period of the year were 1,6%.
